This programme aims to rejuvenate the retail shop front of heartland retailers, and to enhance the digital capabilities of retailers to stay current in the new retail climate. As part of this program, retailers can expect to receive 1-on-1 mentorship training with the Singapore Institute of Retail Studies. The program also includes 80% grant support on physical renovation of the retail space.
A unique feature of the program is your enrolment on to the SIRS' Heartland Visual Merchandising Programme**. This 16-hour programme is designed for heartland enterprises, and each merchant will be assigned a mentor to provide 1-on-1 training, conducted in your store.
You will learn:
• Effective product placement skills to boost sales • How to identify your Unique Selling Proposition through SKU analysis • Ways to optimise your space usage • Techniques to take good product photos and write a compelling copy • Various tools to help you develop marketing materials
**Subsidy on the training programme is further subjected to eligibility of company and trainee.
Support at 80% for each heartland enterprise, on a net-billing arrangement capped at $4,000 of grant quantum per heartland enterprise.
